Mikel Arteta provides injury update on FOUR players ahead of Newcaslte

Ahead of the game against the Magpies, Mikel Arteta has provided injury update on several the Gunners players.

“We have another session today. We need to nail the timing of when (Partey) has enough in the tank to compete. He’s very close. Same with Gabi. He’s done a few things. And Alex is not far too. Tomiyasu still a little bit more,” said Arteta during a press conference.

Thomas Partey is currently out with a thigh injury and has been sidelined for a long-term.

Oleksandr Zinchenko is out with calf injury and has missed the Gunners last three games, while Gabriel Jesus has sustained a knee injury and has missed last four games.

Meanwhile, Tomiyasu’s 2023/24 season has been hauled with injuries.
