License Colorado Division of Gaming - bookmakers

Colorado’s group representing the state’s commercial casino business is the Colorado Division of Gaming. The organization licenses bookmakers like, for example, SuperBook USA or SBK USA. The group, established in 1994, speaks on behalf of the gambling industry before the Colorado Limited Gaming Control Commission, the legislature, and other state agencies such as the Colorado Historical Society, the Department of Revenue, and the Office of the Attorney General. Their mission is to enforce Colorado laws fairly, consistently, and equitably through education, compliance, administration, and criminal enforcement. 

In 2018, Colorado casinos gave over $125 million in gaming tax income to the state’s general budget, roads and transportation, infrastructure upgrades, and historic preservation. The offices are in Lakewood, Central City/Black Hawk, and Cripple Creek. Brett Buckingham is the agent in charge of conducting background checks for the Sports Betting Unit. The manager of the sports betting program is Mia Tsuchimoto. The Division now encourages all new and current licensees to submit their applications online and has made all licensing services available. By selecting the relevant license type from their list and clicking the apply or renew buttons, both new license applicants and current license holders can complete and submit their gaming license applications online.
