Fluminense sends message to Chelsea and Thiago Silva
Thiago Silva will leave Chelsea at the end of the season and will join Fluminense, the club have confirmed on Tuesday.
Silva has been with the Blues since 2020. He will rejoin the Brazilian side in the summer.
The 39-year-old played for Fluminense from 1998 to 2000 as well as he played on loan for the side in 2006 and joined them in 2007 and played until 2009.
Fluminense shared a message for Silva and the Blues on X.
“He always played for your badge, as a true Blue legend. Thanks for all the love you gave for our champion, @ChelseaFC 💙. Pride of London. Now it’s time to come back home. Rio awaits you, @tsilva3, O Monstro do @FluminenseFC 🇭🇺.”
