Pep Guardiola’s side have a game in hand and with a win over Toffees, they will top the league table for at least a few hours.
Speaking ahead of the game, Guardiola was asked during a press conference about potentially going top for at least a few hours if they celebrate a win over Everton.
Guardiola said: “I will answer this after the Brentford game in 11 days, then it will be same games for everyone.”
