Preston have won six and drawn two of their eight Championship fixtures so far this season
Preston North End slipped from the top of the Championship table as they were held to a draw by struggling Rotherham United.
Rotherham took a surprise lead as the game neared half-time, Jordan Hugill firing home from distance to send the Millers ahead.
Liam Lindsay headed Preston level on the verge of half-time, however, as the visitors struck back.
The result means Preston slip to third in the Championship table, after Leicester and Ipswich both won.
