Hearts of Oak board member Dr Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe has expressed unwavering support for under-fire coach Aboubakar Ouattara.
The former Ghana FA chairman doesn't agree with calls for the Ivorian to be sacked after just two matches into the new season.
Ouattara's side have been disappointing, resulting in back-to-back defeats against Basake Holy Stars and Heart of Lions.
Ouattara no longer has the support of the fans with the majority calling for his immediate dismissal but senior board member Nyaho-Tamakloe thinks otherwise.
"I totally disagree with that," Dr. Nyaho-Tamakloe stated in an interview with Angel FM.
"The coach has been given the freedom by the Board to select and train his own players, and that is exactly what he is doing. He tested the players before bringing them into the team."
He emphasised that early setbacks do not equate to failure. "Losing two matches does not mean we have failed, nor does it mean the coach has failed. I strongly believe that with the way they are playing now, very soon, they will gel beautifully, and all the 'doubting Thomases' will see that it takes time to train players."
