Ghana defender David Addy is available on a free transfer after terminating his contract with Belgian side side Waasland Beveren.

The 25-year-old left back is unhappy at the club and wants a fresh challenge elsewhere after only one season in the Belgian Pro League.

AfricanFootball.com understands the player reached an agreement to part ways with the club last week.

“David was unhappy at the club and wanted to move on so he requested to part ways with the club. It had nothing to do with his performance,” a source close to the player told AfricanFootball.com

Addy made 27 appearances last season.

He moved to Belgium on a free transfer after seeing out his contract with Portuguese side Vitoria Guimaraes.
