Liverpool are reportedly interested in Union Berlin striker Bobby Wood.
German publication Berliner Kurier is reporting the Reds sent scouts to watch the club's teenage loanee Taiwo Awoniyi play for FSV Frankfurt last month, but Wood's performance for the opposition is what really caught their eye.
The 23-year-old United States international notched a brace as Union Berlin won the contest 4-0.
Wood, who has scored 14 goals in 25 appearances this season, is under contract with the German second division side until 2018.
