'Unstoppable' Emmanuel Gyasi scores as Spieza thump Cosenza to move fourth in serie B

Ghanaian forward Emmanuel Gyasi netted his eight goal of the season as Spezia Calcio thrashed Cosenza 5-1 to go fourth on the serie B table. 

The inform forward also provided an assist in the big win as the Eagles continue their pursuit of serie A promotion.

Gyasi rolled in an Andrey Galabinov assist in the 20th minute to give his side a 2-0 lead before half time.

Galabinov had opened the scoring after just six minutes, but the lanky forward was replaced in the 30th minute due to an injury he suffered in the game.

Spezia continued from where they left off when Giuseppe Mastinu made it three on 50 minutes, before adding his second of the game five minutes later.

The visitors pulled one back through Mirko Bruccini in the 63rd minute, but Gyasi became a provider, assisting his side's fifth which was netted by M'bala Nzola.

The 26-year old Ghanaian lasted the entire duration after a man of the match performance that lifted his side into promotion play offs spot.

With five games remaining Spezia have a chance of gaining automatic promotion with the difference between them and Crotone only five points.
