US-based Elizabeth Cudjoe has been drafted into the Ghana final squad for next month's  All Africa Games in Maputo, Mozambqiue.

Head coach Kuuku Dadzie named a strong 20-man squad for the multi-spot tournament on Monday evening and the experience of Cudjoe could enhance the team's medal-winning chances.

Ghana's Under-20 ladies will fly out of the country later on Tuesday for a camping base in South Africa.

"Finally, we'll be able to leave for South Africa by today and I’m glad all the necessary documentation has been sorted out," Dadzie said.

"Elizabeth Cudjoe will join us so we can put the final phase of our preparation into full gear.

"It's going to be a difficult tournament but we hope to surmount the challenges and triumph."

The Black Princesses will play silver-medalists South Africa, Cosafa champions Zimbabwe and Tanzania in Group B.

The 2011 All Africa Games will be played from 3-18 September.
