US-based Jonathan Mensah donates kits to juvenile team in native Ghana

Jonathan Mensah, a United States of America (USA) based Ghanaian young football player/coach, has donated sports kits to Barca Kids, a juvenile club based at Mamprobi, in Accra.

The items include jerseys, balls, hoes and boots.

Mensah, advised the young players to be disciplined, respectful, work hard and obey their parents and all adults.

He charged them to take education and hygiene serious.

Mr. Felix Ampah, founder and technical Director of Barca Kids thanked Mensah for his gesture and promised to use them wisely.

Mensah played for Saint Stars at Mamprobi and played for his High School and University in the USA. He now combines business and sports.

His dream was to become a professional footballer, but education and experience in the United States of America (USA), widened his horizon.

“I am now a businessman and a sportsman, I deal in many things, I want to see the kids of Africa live better, so I want to offer my quota to support our talented kids.

"You know Africa is blessed with sports and entertainment talents, we need to support each other for a better world,” he added.

Mensah, was a member of the Chorkor Blue Whales Beach Soccer Club.

He also featured for Mamprobi Rising Stars and BBC Sharks FC in the low tier Community Football division.
