Valencia consider two year contract for Neville

Published on: 25 February 2016

Gary Neville is set to be offered a two year contract to remain as Valencia's manager the Mirror reports.

Neville has endured a torrid start to life as manager of the La Liga side, however three victories in the space of seven days has restored Valencia owners Peter Lim’s faith in the 41-year-old. Valencia’s sporting director Jesus Garcia Pitarch has also reiterated the fact that the club are considering making Neville's position permanent.

Neville will travel with England to the European Championships this summer, however if he does remain in charge at the Mestalla following the conclusion of this season, then this will cast doubt over his England future.
