On-loan Venezia midfielder Emmanuel Besea has spoken about his newly found form at the Serie B side.

The 21-year-old moved during the winter transfer window from Serie A side Frosinone for more game time.

Besea has since played in two matches against Lecce and in the 3-0 defeat at Benevento.

He is happy to be reviving his career under experienced Walter Zenga.

"I am honored by the compliments that have been addressed to me for my performances. In particular that received by the President Tacopina," he told Il Gazzettino.

"I am very satisfied with my performance, and I hope to continue to repay the trust of staff and friends with important and positive performances that can allow me to be an integral part of the project.

"In the midfield we have a lot of quality players, so you need to give 100% in training to try and earn your place.

"We are a great team, and I think we deserve a little more in the standings, but we will have to demonstrate in the next races to be able to aim for the top positions in the standings.

"The break was useful to recharge the batteries and to calmly schedule the next commitments, but I honestly did not want to a break because I feel very charged and ready to take the field, already from the next match that awaits us against Livorno."
