Torino coach Giampiero Ventura said his side played out a good game despite losing 1-0 to AC Milan.
Luca Antonelli grabbed the only goal for the hosts on the stroke of half-time.
“If we had got a result no one would have complained,” Ventura stated to Premium Sport.
“We played out a good game and could have taken the lead.
“If anything, we only let them in twice and in the second-half didn’t even give them a kick.
“There are some areas we can improve on but overall I am content.
Prior to the game there was talk of a possible formation change, but Ventura was adamant about his style.
“I never wanted to return to the 4-2-4,” asserted Ventura. “The team is built to play 3-5-2.
“On a few occasions you can change something but you could ruin everything we’ve done so far.”
The result leaves Torino in 12th place in Serie A comfortably in mid table.
