VfB Stuttgart midfielder Nikolas Nartey has suffered an injury while on a training in camp in Spain with the German outfit.
The Danish-born Ghanaian midfielder grabbed his left knee after a duel in Marbella and had to accompanied by the team's physio Gerhard Wörn on Tuesday.
He is expected to undergo further test to determine the extent of injury.
Pellegrino Matarazzo's side, who resumes their campaign at the beginning of February, wants to lay the foundation for a successful run of games during their time in Spain.
After departing for Marbella on Sunday, the squad arrived at their headquarters in the late afternoon before taking part in their first training sessions on Monday.
