German-born Ghanaian footballer Marcel Appiah has sustained ligament damage in his knee and is set to be out on the sidelines indefinitely.
The Vfl Aalen right-back got injured in the third round of the Wurttemberg Cup against Essinggen on Wednesday. Vfl Aalen lost the game by 1-0.
The German-born underwent a scan and it has been confirmed he is facing a spell on the sidelines.
He made 21 appearances for Aalen in the 2019/20 season in the Regionalliga.
