Nania FC’s training session took an intense turn when the club’s owner, legendary Ghanaian footballer Abedi Ayew Pele, lost his temper over a costly mistake made by one of his players.
The incident occurred during a practice session at Nania Park on Wednesday and was captured in a video circulating on social media.
Abedi, a three-time African Player of the Year and the club’s occasional head coach was seen in a heated exchange with the player.
He expressed frustration over what he perceived as complacency, blaming the mistake on the team's comfortable 4-0 lead during the session.
Abedi warned the player that another error could have serious repercussions.
Despite the outburst, Nania FC’s goal of securing promotion to the Ghana Premier League remains strong.
They currently sit fourth in Division One League Zone 3 with 22 points after 11 matches and will face league leaders Hohoe United on Saturday.
