Video: Asamoah Gyan wants to set up more businesses in Ghana

Asamoah Gyan is looking to establish himself in the business world in order to secure his future.

The Ghana captain is reportedly earning over $100,000 a week at his UAE club Al Ain.

Gyan already owns some business interests in Ghana which has served as a favourbale source of employment for the natives.

The 27-year-old is however looking to set up even more businesses in order to secure his future after his playing career ends.

“It is my job (playing football), this is what I have been praying for,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

“I am still young and I have got a lot of things to learn.

“Am just doing my normal hard work, help my country help my club and the future is bright.

“Aside that maybe set up some businesses elsewhere to secure my future.”

Gyan’s successful football career has also seen him serve as a brand ambassador for telecommunications giants, Glo and one of the leading supermarkets in Ghana, Melcom.
