Black Stars midfielder Mohammed Kudus expressed frustration after being repeatedly criticised by controversial football fan Frank Kwaku Appiah, popularly known as Appiah Stadium.
The incident occurred at Prempeh I International Airport as Kudus and his Black Stars teammates prepared to depart for their Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Niger in Morocco.
While taking photos with enthusiastic airport staff, Kudus became the target of Appiah Stadium's criticism, who accused him of underperforming for the national team compared to his club form.
Initially, Kudus ignored the comments and continued interacting with fans, but as the criticisms persisted, he eventually responded, questioning whether Appiah Stadium valued the goals he scored more than he did.
Despite attempts from airport staff and bystanders to diffuse the situation, the remarks continued, leading a visibly frustrated Kudus to board the flight.
In a separate video, Appiah Stadium was seen praising Jordan Ayew but advising him to smile more during games.
The Black Stars will be looking to bounce back from their 1-0 defeat to Angola in their opening AFCON qualifier when they face Niger on Monday.
