Ghana striker David Accam insists Chicago Fire are still good enough to make the MLS playoffs despite Saturday's 3-1 home defeat to Toronto FC.
Accam was on target- his 13th league goal of the season- but that could not save the Fire from suffering their first home defeat in 2017.
The 26-year-old said in his post-match speech: ''For us from the beginning our goal is to make the playoffs. We stay in a good position. We have good players and we just need to be mentally stronger and for us we need to make the players and I think we have the quality to make the playoffs so we will make the playoffs.''
Chicago Fire are third on the Western Conference table and in a position to make it in the Final Series playoffs.
