Former President of the Ghana Football Association Alhaji MND Jawula has spoken on his tenure as chairman of the Association, his route to becoming president and his relationship with former Sports Minister E.T Mensah. 

The affable football administrator opened up on his upbringing and his desire to lead football at a younger age.

Having worked as a District Chief Executive in the Wale Wale area of the Upper West region, the politician and community leader veered into football and till day he is revered as one of the best FA presidents in Ghana.

During his time as chairman of the Association, the Premier League had huge consumption from Ghanaian.

In a forty minute interview with Beyond the Pitch, Alhaji Jawula spilled everything out and suggested ways to help grow the game domestically.
