The Ghana Football Association has signed a four-year partnership deal with Decathlon as its official retail partner.
As part of the deal, Decathlon Ghana will provide 1,000 Kipsta balls per valued at GH 150,000.
French Ambassador to Ghana Anne Sophie AVÃ was present at the signing ceremony which took place Nungua, Junction Mall on 22 October, 2020.
GFA President Kurt Okraku confirmed the balls will go to women’s football.
''Indeed, Decathlon, during this tenure will ensure the provision of 1000 kipsta footballs valued at a GHâµ 150,000 for a period of 4 years,'' he said.
''These footballs have been specifically allocated to women’s football in Ghana â Women’s Premier and Division One Leagues.
''The football association will also have the honour of receiving other products from Decathlon valued at a GHâµ 100,000 a year for a total of GHâµ 400,000 for the 4-year period. All the products will be used by women’s football in this country.''
