Dutch striker of Ghanaian descent Myron Boadu on Wednesday netted his first league goal for French side Monaco.
Boadu opened the scoring in the Ligue 1 victory against Angers - his first league goal since arriving at the club in August.
The 20-year-old made the switch from AZ to Monaco last summer and had so far scored once in the Europa League for Monaco.
He is more often a substitute than a basic player but was handed a starting berth on Wednesday for the fifth time in a Ligue 1 match.
After 25 minutes he scored, helping Monaco secure a 3-1 win to climb up to 7th on the table.
Boadu was on edge with a clever foot move by Kevin Volland. The German put the ball behind the Angers defense and Boadu hit from close range.
