Ghana youth international Daniel Amartey has admitted he is playing catch-up in training at his new side FC Copenhagen.

The midfielder-cum-defender a big career move to the Danish champions from Swedish side Djurgarden IF on a five-year deal.

Amartey has revealed he is working hard to be at par with his teammates since arriving late.

“It is not easy but they teach me so I have to learn and focus on how to do it so I’m working on it,” the 19-year-old told FC Copenhagen TV.

“I have to learn more because when they are training I don’t know what they are doing so I have to focus and learn what they are doing on the pitch.”

Amartey has joined his teammates for a training camp in Austria.
