Ghana winger Solomon Asante has set his sights on scoring more goals for American USL Championship side Phoenix Rising.
Last season, the petit wideman won the championship's Golden Boot after netting 22 goals with just three goals shy of the highest number of goals by a player in a single season in the history of the Championship.
Asante also set two USL records this season as he made the highest number of assists in a single season with 17 and a combined goals and assists of 39.
The 29-year-old has began the campaign in a scintillating fashion for the Arizona-based side, plundering 3 goals and providing 3 assists in 4 matches.
He is keen to add a lot more before the end of the season.
Captain @Asante20Magic scores a lot of goals. And when he scores them at @CasinoAZField, he prefers scoring them at the South End.#RisingTogetherButSeparate | #OwnThe* pic.twitter.com/HIG4kajpcv
