Hearts of Oak defender Larry Ibrahimm Sumaila has called on fans of the club and Ghanaians to follow the necessary protocols as the country continues to fight against the novel coronavirus.
The right back in a video on the club's Twitter handle advised fans to respect the President's directive by staying home to avoid the spread of the virus.
Ghana is recording increasing cases of COVID-19, with official numbers stating 205 positive tests have been recorded.
With football and all other social gatherings cancelled due to the pandemic, Sumaila has asked fans to make sure they stay safe and has hopes life will return to normalcy soon.
