Legon Cities earned their first three points of the season as they beat Real Tamale United 3-2 at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday.
Defender, Joseph Adjei scored the first goal after 22 minutes to put Cities 1-0 up.
But David Abagna levelled, making it two goals in two games after scoring a late penalty in the opening weekend against Great Olympics.
The Royals went up again after Nathaniel Akwah scored to make it 2-1 in the 54th minute.
Jonah Attuquaye was brought down in the box and he slotted home from the penalty spot to put the game slightly beyond the reach of RTU.
RTU reduced the deficit when Abagna also scored a penalty in the 79th minute to make it 3-2
Cities defended very well to prevent RTU from equalizing as the latter were reduced to 10 men in the 89th minute.
