Video: Laryea Kingston touts Hearts chances against Kotoko

Midfielder Laryea Kingston says he can feel a Hearts of Oak win in the big Ghanaian derby against Asante Kotoko on Sunday.

The Phobians will be looking to gain ground on the Premier League leaders by grabbing yet another famous victory at the Baba Yara Stadium – a very fruitful hunting grounds for the Rainbow boys.

And Kingston who played his last Hearts game against Kotoko before embarking on a fairly successful adventure in Europe back in 2003, says the pre-match feeling is reminiscent of a win.

“I feel very happy, this kind of game is very important for every player in the country and especially the fans as well,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

“It is the biggest game in the country so every player enjoys playing in this kind of game and am looking forward to a good game.”

“We are looking sharp in training and the team spirit too is very high so I can smell a positive outcome in Kumasi.

“We are going there to enjoy our football and try and win the day.”

Hearts will cut Kotoko’s lead at the summit of the Ghanaian topflight to seven points if they manage a win on Sunday.
