Majeed Ashimeru scored in Red Bull Salzburg's 5-0 win over his former club Austria Lustenau on Friday to lift the Austrian OFB Cup.

The goal will be a memorable one for the 22-year-old who has won his first career silverware  since turning pro at WAFA SC.

The Ghana international drilled home from just outside the box on 65 minutes to register the fourth goal for the club.

Ashimeru, who played in a defensive midfield role, was not restricted to creating scoring chances as he occasionally went on the offensive.

Dominik Szoboszlai opened the scoring in the 19th minute with a rocket free-kick before an own goal by Dominik Stumberger two minutes later.

After the break, Noah Okafor made it 3-0 before substitute Sekou Koita connected him for the fifth.
