The Porcupine Warriors defeated Medeama 1-0 in an entertaining game played at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.
Cameroonian forward Mfegue Omgba scored the only goal – his fourth of the season – in the 79th minute. He beat Ivorian goalkeeper Boris Mandjui with a strike from inside the box.
Mandjui then saved a penalty to deny Omgba a brace and cap off a spectacular goalkeeping performance.
