Players of Cypriot giants Omonia Nicosia dedicated the victory over Anorthosis to injured forward Ernest Asante.
Marko Scepovic raced to the bench to receive an Ernest Asante jersey which he hoisted high to celebrate his goal in the 2-0 victory.
Asante has been the club's livewire since joining in the summer before his terrible injury last week.
The former FC Nordsjaelland player had to be substituted after 35 minutes due to the injury in the big clash against Olympiakos.
The club announced after the match that Asante will stay out of action for 6-8 months with an anterior cruciate ligament and meniscus.
Asante scored eight goals in the Cypriot league as Omonia finished the regular season top of the table.
