Ghana midfielder Bernard Mensah was on target for Besiktas as they cruised to victory against Gilbert Koomson's Kasimpasa on Friday night.

Mensah opened the scoring for the Turkish giants at the stroke of half time after Kasimpasa goalie R Kose failed to grab a Vincent Aboubakr effort which was connected by the Ghanaian.

Just 13 minutes into the game, Mensah's compatriot Gilbert Koomson was replaced by Kevin Varga.

Besiktas returned from the break in search of more goals and just before the 70th minute mark Atiba Hutchinson doubled the lead.

Mensah was substituted in the 74th minute and just a minute after Cameroonian attacker Vincent Aboubakar added the third to secure all three points for Besiktas.

The victory sends Besikas fourth on the table, behind Galatasaray, Fenerbache and Alanyaspor.

Mensah has now scored twice in nine games for the Eagles.
