Ghana forward Caleb Ekuban scored but it was not enough as Trabzonspor succumbed to a 2-1 defeat against Denizlispor in the Turkish Supaliga on Monday.
Ekuban fetched the opener for visitors after just 14 minutes on the clock.
The goal was the Ghana international’s sixth in the league.
However, second half goals from Hadi Sacko and Oscar Estupinan set the Denizli Ataturk Stadium ablaze as the hosts held on to record a famous victory.
Ekuban played the entire duration of the game.
He has made 26 appearances for Trabzonspor this season so far.
