Ghanaian youngster Kingsley Asante Ofori scored for SJK Akatemia but it was not enough as they lost 3-2 to Pepo Lappeenranta in Finland's Kakkonen Cup final on Saturday.
Ofori broke the deadlock for the visitors in as early as the 7th minute to settle the nerves of his team on the home ground of their opponents.
The playmaker showed great skills and trickery to cut in from the left on his right foot close to the centre circle, drove through the middle while managing to fend off goons of defenders and midfielders to strike the ball into the right top corner.
Kingsley Asante Ofori is the highest scorer with 15 goals in 20 matches in Group C of the Finnish Kokkone League.
He has made a strong case of being named MVP of the season.
