The Black Satellites of Ghana defied all odds to progress to the semifinals at the expense of Cameroon in the ongoing Africa U-20 Cup of Nations in Mauritania.

Ghana defeated Cameroon 4-2 on penalties in the quarter-finals at the  Stade Olympique de Nouakchott.

The game ended goalless in regulation time but saw a lot of action in extra time with goals coming from the two sides.

The Young Lions scored broke the deadlock through Kevin-Prince Milla in extra time first half.

Ghana quickly responded through Frank Boateng with the equalizer.

The youngster was later adjudged man of the match after the game.

Penalties were needed to separate the two sides and the West African giants came up as the eventual winners with a 4-2 win over Cameroon.
