Nigeria’s Kparobo Arierhi scored twice in the first half, leaving Ghana chasing a two-goal deficit at the break.
Ghana stepped up their intensity in the second half, with the Black Satellites pressing Nigeria’s defence in search of a breakthrough.
Their persistence paid off when Jerry Afriyie found the net in the 76th minute, igniting hopes of a comeback.
However, Nigeria’s defence held strong, ultimately securing the win and the championship.
Despite the loss, Ghana’s journey was impressive, as they clinched a spot in the 2025 Africa U-20 Championship.
