WAFA SC earned a shock 2-1 win at Berekum Chelsea on Sunday in the Ghana Premier League to halt their two-match losing streak.
The Academy Boys rallied from behind to secure the win which was snatched in injury time courtesy an Eric Asamany finish from range.
The Chelsea defence failed to clear an innocuous ball inside their box and after several missed attempts, the ball dropped in front of Asamany who shot home past goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim.
The hosts had taken the lead in the 38th minute courtesy a Stephen Amankona penalty after Sampson Agyapong had handled the ball inside the box.
WAFA captain Abukari Ibrahim leveled for the visitors in the 72nd minute from a goal-mouth melee.
