Ghana ace Kwadwo Asamoah again showed how important he will be for Inter Milan when the Italian season gets underway by producing a brilliant performance in the Nerazzurri's International Champions Cup victory over Atletico Madrid on Saturday.

The 29-year-old lasted 60 minutes on the field but made a big impression, providing the assist to the only goal of the game.

The goal came in the 31st minute and it was a stunner from Lautaro Martinez. Asamoah played a brilliant diagonal ball to the far post and the ‘Toro’ found the corner with an acrobatic volley.

Asamoah arrived at Inter with a big reputation having conquered Italy with Juventus and thus far he's proven his worth in all pre-season games he's featured in.

With his impressive displays, he will be expected to make his official debut when Inter Milan face off with Sassuolo on the opening day of the Serie A.
