Ghana striker Majeed Waris scored netted his first league goal of the season to rescue a point for Nantes against Angers in the French Ligue 1 on Saturday.
Angers took the lead courtesy Stephane Bahoken strike after five minutes into the game, benefitting from Flavien Tait’s assist to set his side on the path to victory.
However, in the 89th minute, second-half substitute Waris levelled proceedings for the hosts, profiting from top scorer Emiliano Sala’s assist.
