English-born Ghanaian goalkeeper Jojo Wallocott has been invited for Ghana’s 2022 World Cup doubleheader against Zimbabwe next month.

The 24-year old has been handed his first ever national team call up in Milovan Rajevac’s 32-man squad for the game.

Wallocott, who plays for English fourth-tier club Swindon Town, has been handed debut call-up to the senior national team, Black Stars.

He is among four goalkeepers invited by coach Milovan Rajevac for the doubleheader against Zimbabwe.

Wallocott is the first choice goalkeeper at Swindon Town and has made nine appearances this season, keeping four clean sheets.
