The ball may have missed out on the target, but Thomas Partey thunderous free-kick caught the attention of football fans.
During Arsenal's first pre-season friendly against Hibernian, the Ghana deputy captain smashed the crossbar with a stunning long-range free-kick.
It would have been his first goal in Arsenal colours if the ball had entered the net.
Partey came on at half-time as Arsenal fell to a 2-1 defeat at Easter Road, but he left his own impression on the game.
The 28-year-old 50 million euros signing from Atletico Madrid, is determined to excel in the coming season, having struggled in his first term.
