Right to Dream Academy have released a trailer of the documentary on graduate and FC Dallas striker Francis Atuahene.

The short film titled A Dream Is Born will be premiered on Wednesday, January 9 2019.

The film looks at Atuahene's journey from Techiman to becoming a professional athlete, representing FC Dallas in the Major League Soccer.

The 22-year-old believes his story will serve as a motivation for people not give up on their dreams and work hard to achieve it.

Below is the trailer.

Atuahene has come a long way, but he never forgets his roots or takes for granted how far he’s come.

While on holidays in Ghana, Atuahene has tried his best to put a smile on the faces of the less privileged.

Atuahene visited his hometown in Techiman to motivate and donate to his community. He presented 22 jersey tops and bottoms, 25 T-shirts, 20 soccer balls, and two ball pumps back.

Before Christmas, Atuahene and his FC Dallas teammate Emmanuel Twumasi made a donation to the Osu Children's Home in Accra.

The items valued at about GHC 5,000 included bags of rice, cooking oil, boxes of soft drinks, packs of toilet rolls and FC Dallas branded T-shirts.

Atuahene spent last season on loan at USL side OKC Energy.
