Ex-King Faisal boss Vincent Sowah Odotei has played down his reported return to Hearts of Oak.

The go-getting football administrator has been heavily linked with the Hearts Chief Executive position which has become vacant following the resignation of Fred Crentsil.

Odotei is reported to be top on the wish-list of the club's Board of Directors to steer their affairs, with just days for the start of the new Premier League season.

But the former Ghana Football Association presidential arspirant has moved to water down on the reports and insists he is undecided on his future.

“I am happy that I’m being considered for the job, but I can tell you that I have not spoken to any Hearts official,” Odotei said

“I have not spoken to anyone about the Hearts job, I just want to concentrate on my handing over at King Faisal and then we see what can happen from there.

“I am sure they (Hearts) are more experienced on what to do. For now I want to concentrate on my private business.

“I cannot just abandon football after spending my time and investments. I cannot just walk away.

Odotei’s potential appointed is being fiercely opposed by ex-Ghana FA boss Nyaho Tamakloe.
