Vision FC coach Nana Kwaku Agyemang believes Kotoko has got what it takes to overcome opponents in the upcoming Ghana Premier League.
In a pre-season friendly on Sunday, the Porcupine Warriors secured a 2-1 victory over the newly promoted side boosting preparations for the new season.
Albert Amoah struck twice to secure the win for the record holders of the Ghana Premier League.
“Asante Kotoko is very disciplined in terms of organization. They don’t press high but wait for spaces in opponent team and utilise it. They did it to us in the first half but I realised it and closed that space in the second half”
“Kotoko were able to break our lines. On the whole, if they are a bit potent in attack next season, I think they can damage a lot of teams” he said after the game.
Kotoko are hoping for a strong season having settled for a sixth-place finish last season. As a result, they got rid of more than 20 players in a massive overhaul.
Meanwhile, the new Ghana Premier League campaign will commence on September 6, 2024, with the Porcupine Warriors expected to take on Karela United in the opener.
