Ghana defender Gideon Mensah will miss Vitória de Guimarães trip to Arouica in the Portuguese Cup after suffering a fresh injury.
The left back who missed Ghana's double AFCON qualifier against Sudan suffered the injury in training and has been ruled out of Saturday's clash.
Mensah fought his way into the starting eleven after arriving on loan in the summer transfer window from Red Bull Salzburg.
The 22-year old's injury is not that serious and he is expected to be back soon.
In his absence, defender Silvio will deputize after losing his position to the experienced Ghanaian.
