Isaac Vorsah hands Hoffenheim late win

Published on: 28 August 2010

Ghana defender Isaac Vorsah scored a late goal to hand Bundesliga side TSG Hoffenheim a 0-1 win at St. Pauli on Saturday night and he dedicated the goal to his younger brother who died exactly 40 days ago.

Vorsah struck in the 87th minute as Hoffenheim gathered their second straight win for a perfect six points.

The tall centre-back surged forward for a corner kick and he stretched to stab home the match winner.

The goal becomes his first in 44 Bundesliga matches for TSG Hoffenheim.

Compatriot Prince Tagoe was a 62nd minute substitute for Demba Ba.

Both players will join the Ghana squad in South Africa for Sunday's Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Swaziland in Mbabane.

Hoffenheim are second behind leaders Kaiserslautern by inferior goal difference.

Yes Matthew Amoah was on the score sheet for Nac Breda in the 11th minute over their 2-0 home win against VVV Venlo.Looks like a good weekend for GH players abroad.

You see, Yaw 2 you are now acting sensibly. Nobody is saying you shouldn't criticise, but criticise constructively not destructively.

Quincy was awesome. The serbian triner should go watch the video of that game and see how technically blind he is for leaving Quincy on the bench at the world.

yeah Quincy was great. he was always a threat any time he had the ball. he stood out among malaga's attack. What a display of skills and speed . We're hoping that he keeps it up

very well said guys! his run on the ball was awesome, he's got a lot of pace and flair for the two matches i've seen him play for malaga...no wonder the crowd kept yelling whenever he was on the go. I think he has a platform to relaunch his career. Good luck QUINCY!

I saw the Malaga game.am soo disapointed at the Ghana coach.Quincy was unstopable .everytime he gets the ball he makes use of it.his pace is sickining.we really hav to get read of this coach.I also saw appiahs game he was not bad for his first game.he is lacking just a little pace but after 3or 4 games he should pick it up.

why are you guys wondering why the coach is not fileding players like quincy, but instead P. Tagoe who has gotten so many chaces and still doesn't show any potential? The answer is sooo simple!! It is because he gets doesn't get anything from fielding Q. Abeyie. He and P.Tagoe however, are in the same club, and he has to push him no matter what. Thos coach is really dismantling our national team instead of building it. The earlier calls inform ghanaian players for national team the better for him. Anyway, why is he still coaching the blackstars, although he has no contract anymore? He knows what he gets for pushing from pushing his players into the forefront.
