Dethroned Ghanaian champions Wa All Stars have promised to come back stronger next season after a wretched title defence.

The Northern Blues managed to finish sixth on the table with some uninspiring performances.

All Stars lost key players like Richard Arthur, Joseph Adjei, Emmanuel Ocran, Ishmael Ganiyu and Kofi Yeboah to foreign clubs after winning the league and that weakened them.

Their bad start to the season led to the dismissal of head coach Enos Adipah.

''We will strengthen the potency of the club with new strategic recruitments that will catapult the team to the apex of Ghana football,'' General Manager Seth Panwum told Ghana News Agency.

''Under the circumstance, we had to make do with the available players, but I can say it was not a bad season after all and we shall improve in the coming season.''
