All Stars coach Nuhu Mohammed insists his side can keep the momentum when the Ghana Premier League returns in next month.

The Wa-based side have enjoyed their best ever start since they gained promotion to the top flight.

They lie in second place with 23 points from 12 matches.

All Stars beat giants Asante Kotoko for the first time last Sunday before the league went on a two-week break.

The Blues have vowed not slow their charge when they engage defending champions Berekum Chelsea on 8 January.

"The break will afford is some time to rest and then we get back to business but I am optimistic we’ll continue from where we left off," Mohammed told MTNFootball.com

"The 12 matches so far have been challenging but we have done our best to remain where we are.

"There is no pressure on us. We take one game after the other and we’ll see how it will go when the league returns."
