WAFA captain and defender Abubakar Ibrahim has urged his teammates to go for all three points  against giants Asante Kotoko in midweek.

The Academy Boys will host the Porcupine Warriors at their favourite Red Bull Arena on Wednesday, looking to make it two wins on the bounce.

Having beaten Great Olympics in Accra last Sunday, the Academy lads are poised for victory.

"In Sha Allah, tomorrow operation finish Kotoko for three points. My guys we are doing it. More for the winning spirit," he posted on Twitter.

Despite their recent almost flawless record in Sogakope, WAFA lost their first game at the Arena for the first time since 2015, when Liberty Professionals secured a 2-1 win on Match Day 6.

Meanwhile, Asante Kotoko took their legs off the peddle over the weekend after struggling to a 1-1 draw against Liberty in Kumasi.
