Former New Edubiase center back Musah Nuhu has explained how he broke into the starting eleven of Sogakope side WAFA after joining them.

Nuhu, 19, was instrumental for New Edubiase but his individual efforts could not guide the side out of relegation last season.

The hardworking defender was kept on the bench for the initial three matches of the season before breaking into the starting eleven.

And he explains why: “When I arrived here, I had to patiently learn their style and adopt to their system. After going through the mill, I waited for my time and I think it is now getting on well for me.”

Nuhu’s contribution to WAFA has been tremendous so far, inspiring the side to undefeated run in their last four matches including walloping Wa All Stars 4-1 in Wa.
